Who we are
This website is operated by Killarney Lakes Distillery Company Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 821834), registered office The Penthouse Floor, 5 Lapp’s Quay, Cork. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at info@killarneylakesdistillery.com.
What we collect
When you join our list we collect your email address and the date and time you signed up. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, to keep the site secure and to produce anonymous visitor statistics.
Why we use it
We use your email address only to send you news about Killarney Lakes Distillery: our opening, first releases, tours and events. Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Regulation 13 of S.I. No. 336 of 2011). We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Our emails are intended only for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please do not sign up.
Who handles it for us
Your email address is stored on our website (hosted by GoDaddy) and delivered to our business email (Google Workspace). If we later use a dedicated email-marketing service, it will act only on our instructions. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After that we remove it within 30 days, keeping only a minimal record that you opted out so that we don’t contact you again.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to info@killarneylakesdistillery.com. You also have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

We will update this notice when our website or the way we use data changes, and the date above will show when it was last revised.
